Kadayif — kataifi, knafeh, künefe, depending on where you are standing — is dough extruded into hair-fine threads and toasted gold. It is the crunch inside kunafa, and the crunch inside every Dubai chocolate bar that broke the internet.

This is the high-volume format: two 2.5 kg bags, 5 kg (11 lbs) to a case. Same product as our ten-bag case, same even golden toast, considerably less packaging to open and dispose of across a week of service.

It is the right buy if kadayif is a daily ingredient rather than an occasional one — a kunafa counter, a chocolate manufacturer running Dubai bars in batches, or a bakery producing pistachio-kadayif pastries at scale. If you are opening a bag every day or two, the larger format costs less per kilo and creates less waste.

Four ingredients: wheat flour, water, vegetable oil and salt. No preservatives. Contains wheat. Store cool and dry, and reseal properly — humidity is the only real enemy of a toasted thread.
